Austin Adera is a procurement expert with over 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, transformation and operating model design. 

Austin is passionate about finding creative ways to solve complex problems to deliver meaningful outcomes and has delivered projects across a wide range of industries with a focus on finance, retail, education, and government. 

Throughout his work Austin has been tasked with leading large-scale procurements, ranging from sourcing technologies and education providers to food and healthcare attendants. His experience across a wide array of projects makes him a versatile consultant with the ability to provide a positive impact across a variety of different contexts and environments. 

Austin brings a calm approach and logical mindset to consulting, aiming to build trust with his clients through meaningful communication and excellence in delivery.

  • Led offshore transformation of finance function for major insurer, aligning executives, delivering target operating model, and transitioning operations to a 20+ FTE offshore team with 150+ SOPs
  • Established a seven‑category procurement panel for a state government agency through end‑to‑end sourcing, stakeholder engagement and compliant RFx delivery
  • Delivered dual technology sourcing (UC platform and network provider), including maturity assessment, RFx design, and vendor selection to support future‑state roadmap
  • Led Attendant Care strategy review, conducting stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and developing future operating model and recommendations
  • Led end‑to‑end sourcing of technology services provider (8 modules), including TOM design, RFx, negotiation, and vendor selection
  • Supported EU expansion strategy for a superannuation firm, developing roadmap and business case across HR, risk, finance, and legal streams
